Banqueting Chairs And The Significance Of Selecting The Correct Ones For Your Guests
Along with the hors doeuvres and the open bar, a set of linens and flatware are chosen with care, along with the banqueting chairs. This item will prove to be as important as your guest list itself. After all, if your guests are not comfortable, the event may not be so pleasant.
Whether you are planning the banquet for a wedding reception, a cocktail party, or a lunch convention, your chairs are essential for the comfort of the attendees. And it would make sense if your guests could rise comfortably, whether to get another drink for someone at the table, or to dance the night away. There are so many type of banquet chairs that no matter how elegant or simple your event is, there has been a chair designed for it. There are Side Chairs with hand tufted upholstered backs, and there are stack chairs. Depending on the occasion, you may prefer a basic stack chair, a resin or wooden Folding Chair, or you may go all out with a Queen Anne chair with an upholstered back and seat. You may find that you need one or more bariatric chairs, that is a chair that holds up to a thousand pounds.
The choices for the backs of your banquet chairs are many, as well. There are designs in a trapezoid shape, or crown backs, dome and teardrop. There are flex backs and also designs like that of a weave or braid, lattice or crossroads designs, as well.
The seats may be padded with as little as one half inch padding, or as much as three inches of it. They may have a vinyl covering or have a patterned fabric. It might be a seat sled, that is a kind of metal sliding rail type connecting leg, or it may have cabriole legs. It may be designed with an older era in mind, like the nineteen hundreds, or the eighteen hundreds, or before that.
Other Stacking Chairs include the hospitality style, commercial ones, convention seating, and ballroom chairs. The seats may be wood or cushioned fabric, or even veneer. They may have arms or not.
