Seventh generation gaming consoles
The seventh generation gaming consoles have come a long way technologically ever since the first Video Gaming console was launched. Video gaming console markets have crashed in the past, forcing the stocks to be sold at cheaper prices to stem the losses. This forced many companies to close shop leaving only some major players in the fray. Technology has considerably helped the Video Game console market to remain stabilized for quite some time now. Greater features and better user-interface has found greater acceptance by the people.
These seventh generation consoles deliver the best HDMI output. These are available both in the optical media and the games can also be played using the internet. The major companies have developed special online resources which provide online gaming. These provide some kind of distribution service as well which enables the users to download these games for a small fee. These consoles are also available in the optical media that can be run in the latest blu-ray disk player. The blu- ray disks are based on the use of the blue lasers which make disks good for storing the high definition videos and for the PS 3games.
The Nintendo Wii is one such gaming console which is works on a flash drive rather than using the internal hard drive. It has been offering competition to the Sony gaming consoles. One of the notable features is the Remote Control, which resembles the remote of a TV. It plays the internet games and features two memory cards and four controllers.

Even the major and influential retailers have been able to influence the pricing decisions of the companies.
The gaming consoles also come in their portable formats as well. Since these are portable, these can be carried to any place and played with. All the components are in-built in the device itself. The present day handheld gaming devices allow users to connect with the internet and also permit use of optical storage media like the CDs.
To make the usage of these consoles more convenient and making these devices safer, without affecting their functions, suitable gaming accessories have been developed to go with the newer models of consoles.
