The world of digital explained
The digital display is Perhaps the greatest revolution in the media from the Internet with companies and more companies are turning to this new medium as a method of awareness of products, services and brands.
Digital signage has many other terms with it often called digital out-of-home (Dooh) media, narrowcasting, media display, advertising and digital media networks, but the basis of the average is that it is the use of LCD, plasma or LED screens for use as a signaling rather than entertainment.
There are many digital signage applications, including:
Advertising, Brand awareness and information, public and internal, including news, weather, corporate messages and health and safety information (such as emergency exits).
The current market digital display is still growing with an increase of 33% in the last year alone. The industry is set to a value of over $ 3.5 billion in the U.S. alone in 2011. Currently, China has the greatest number of digital signage systems deployed, but it is becoming increasingly popular in almost all countries.
There is also a growing trend of digital signage applications being placed outside. Outdoor Digital display is made possible thanks to waterproof LCD TVs and protective enclosures conventional LCD screens home, but allow their use in harsh or outdoor.
The advantages of this new medium more traditional two-dimensional signs are many:
