The trend of round glasses is becoming heated in this season. Not only have the designers been offering a series of round-framed glasses, but also the celebrities appear with round glasses. Apparently, the fashion industry of round glasses have swept among the common people since they often appear on the popular street shot websites. It seems that round glasses idol, Harry Potter, has brought not only the box-office harvest, but also a fashion revolution.

As early as a few weeks ago, the New York Times classified the round glasses as the most anticipating for this summer, which appears to be a belated action. Those who are a bit fashion-conscious were aware of the resurgence of round glasses last year.

Dating back to the New York Fashion Week on September, 2008, the T stage had fallen to the round glasses.

Proenza Schouler’s metallic-colored round-framed glasses have a sense of space-age science fiction. Vera Wang’s round glasses are a little bit exaggeratedly playful and lively. Ralph Lauren seems to be most loyal to the original features of round glasses. Hawksbill frames completely bring fashion back the fifties or sixties of last century. In the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Carolina Herrera also led the fashion topic by a pair of extra large glasses. Even Chanel has also launched round-framed glasses not missing the moment and attracted the pursuit of fashion leaders like Mary Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie.

Celebrities are the main force in adding fuel to the fire. Lady Gaga’s round glasses are the most striking.
