Who makes the best RTA (Ready to assemble) sofas in the world?

July 1, 2011 - Simplicity Sofas last year challenged the RTA sofa manufacturers in the world to compete for the honorary title RTA Sofa best in the world. There were no challengers.
The second annual Challenge is now on sofas and easy is Better Than ever. Competitors are invited to submit their products for consideration by the buying public in the following categories:

Simplicity Sofas last year based on its claims on its quality kiln dried Solid Oak frames (with a lifetime warranty), optional 6 "thick foam cushions Ultracel, and a choice of over 100 fabrics. He also offered dozens of special features, including fitted slipcovers, box or roll-front cushions, skirts, contrasting stripes and other special requests. Each piece is handmade, one-piece built to a time by American skilled craftsmen with 20 years or more experience.
This simplicity Sofas years has made upgrades as many. Option Ultracel cushions with lifetime warranty are now the norm and have been upgraded from the original industry standard 6 "thick 8 1 / 2 ".
For customers who want an even plusher pad can now choose premium Spring-down cushions expensive construction are usually found only in high-end sofas costing thousands of dollars.
Other changes include additional padding arm Foam back, improved fiber quality in back cushions and over 50 new fabrics bringing the total number of tissues stored for more than 150. More than 50 leather choices are also available.
2. Assembly easier and faster
Simplicity Sofas last year claimed that his sofa can be assembled by most adults for the first time in 15 minutes (or less than 10 minutes with a team of 2) industry experts mocked up the claim that Simplicity Sofas produced a video on YouTube with a diminutive 8 year old boy who assembled a Sofa Bed by himself less than 5 minutes.

Another unique advantage of the Assembly Sofas Easy Easy system - unlike other RTA sofas, sofas Simplicity can be assembled, said assembled and reassembled hundreds of times without loss of structural integrity. Sofa disassembly is a single person about 5 minutes.
Simplicity Sofas has this year added a new section group (six different models available with arms.) Although section is based on a different technology that makes the sofas, the assembly (or removal) requires less than 5 minutes for a single individual. As the sofas, sectional units can be assembled and disassembled over and over again without loss of structural integrity.
3. Service customers
This is a new category to this challenge. Furniture companies are generally not known for exceptional customer service. Simplicity Sofas When opened in 2007, he announced plans to provide its customers with the best customer service in the furniture industry-wide. Surprisingly, he got the job after only three years. Simplicity Sofas "revolutionary ready to assemble Sectional Sofa and assembly systems have been developed by Glenn Laughlin and Jeff Frank. Glenn and Jeff have worked together on the development High Quality designs RTA upholstered furniture for nearly 20 years and received five U.S. patents. Upholstered furniture products based on their patents been sold in 30 countries around the world.
Glenn and Jeff development approach Sofas RTA was different from other manufacturers (such as companies that provide IKEA.) Rather than trying to develop the cheapest, their efforts were directed to produce the best product quality furniture that looked and felt like the same price and Sectional Sofas classic. At the same time it had to be extremely simple for a single person to assemble, including elderly clients and those who do not have great physical strength.
The problem with the design of a ACR sofa with these requirements is that most people have the idea that knockdown or ready to assemble furniture is cheaper than "real" furniture. This is true that when the materials are used and less emphasis on reducing shipping costs, rather than ease of assembly.
It actually costs more to make a sofa RTA that it would build a classic sofa using the components of the same quality. Mechanisms Assembly hardware and create additional costs. In addition, the interior surfaces that are not visible on a conventional sofa should be finished or covered because they are visible on the sofa RTA.
Simplicity Sofas "solution to the dilemma of costs was sell directly from factory to consumer. About the Author
Jeff Frank is the owner and co-inventor of Simplicity Sofas, a manufacturer of high quality custom-built RTA (Ready to Assemble) sofas, sleepers, sectionals and other coordinating pieces designed specifically to fit into small rooms and through narrow doors, stairways and other tight entrances including RVs and boats.
Mr. Frank is a 35 year veteran of the furniture industry with that time split almost equally between retail, manufacturing and product development. Together, with co-inventor Glenn Laughlin, Mr. Frank has been awarded 5 patents in the field of Ready to Assemble and Multifunctional Upholstered Furniture with additional patents currently pending.
Mr. Frank is also extremely dedicated to the improvement of customer service practices in the furniture industry.
